MMTC invites Open Sale of 11,000 MT Concast Billet

Metals & Minerals Trading Corporation (MMTC) has invited interested domestic buyers for purchase of 11,000 MT Concast MS Billet manufactured by NINL.

Material Specification

• Grade: IS:2830:2012
• C: 0.17-0.23%
• Mn: 0.60-1.00%
• Carbon Equivalent: 0.42% max
• Sulphur & Phosphorous: 0.050% max each
• Dimension: 150 x 150 mm (Tolerance: +/- 5 mm)
• Size: 09-12 m (Tolerance: +/- 0.20 m)

Delivery & Dispatch: The delivery shall be done on ex-NINL plant basis and dispatch of the material shall be done through road or rake (1 Rake= approx 2,750 MT). In case of dispatch through rail, freight should be paid in advance.

Loading: Loading of the material into railway wagons shall be arranged by NINL.

Last date of bid submission will be on 12 Jan, 2015 at 16.00 hrs and the technical bids will open on the same day at 16.30 hrs. Also, the price bids will open on 13 Jan, 2015 at 12.00 hrs.
