India: MMTC Increase Tender Quantity to 37,000 MT for Iron Ore Fines Purchase
MMTC, a leading international trading company in India and one of the major global players in minerals trade, had issued a tender for purchase of 20,000 MT (approx) iron ore fines (0-10 mm) for supply to Neelachal Ispat Nigam (NINL) Plant at Duburi, Odisha on 17th Jul’17, however through a corrigendum the company have notified that it has increased the iron ore fines purchase quantity to 37000 MT, 10 rakes which was earlier 5 rakes with the quantity of 20,000 MT.
The bidders have to quote F.O.R price per WMT basis. Tender Price will remain valid for 30 days for acceptance by MMTC.

1. Fe content – 62% basis
2. Sio2 – 3% max
3. Al2O3 – 4% max
4. Moisture – 8% max
5. Sulphur – 0.02% max
6. Phos – 0.055% max

Bid submission due date: 25 Jul’17 at 13:30 hrs
Technical bid opening: 25 Jul’17 at 15:30 hrs following which price bids of technically qualified bidders will be opened subsequently.
