New Delhi,
State owned steel plant Neelachal Ispat Nigam Ltd (NINL), has floated a tender for purchase of Ferro Alloys for its 1.1 million ton capacity iron making plant based near Cuttack (Odisha) through MMTC.
Tender Floated for
Ferro Silicon– 500 MT of Grade 70% Si, Phos 0.04
HC Silico Manganese– 1000 MT of Grade 60% Mn, Si 14%, P 0.03
Recently domestic prices have corrected over weak demand and selling pressure.Current prices in open market are
Ferro Silicon (70-75%)- Rs 66,000/t (Ex Guwahati) ($1189/t)
Ferro Manganese (70%)- Rs 52,000-52,500/t (Ex Raipur) ($936-945/t)
Silicon Manganese (60/14)- Rs 51,000-52,000/t (Ex Raipur/Durgapur) ($918-937/t)
