The steel ministry has extended the deadline for BIS certification of Ferro silicon plants by three months from 23 Jul’20 as the process of inspection is delayed due to the partial lockdown and travel ban. Ferro silicon exporters were looking for clarity on the extension of dates as otherwise, it would have hampered trade.
