Major miners of Iron ore in Odisha such as Rungta Mines & Indrani Patnaik have kept Iron ore prices unchanged for rest of February month owing to stable demand in the market.
The prices are reviewed twice in a month, but there is no change in Iron ore prices since last one month.
A Source said, “Odisha and other states have demand for Iron ore, but owing to government limitations regarding Iron ore supply, we are not able to supply it and hence cannot even raise its prices.”
“There is demand for Iron ore in the market, however because of parity in demand and supply, the prices of Iron ore are unchanged”, said by the sources based in Odisha.
