An Indian steel major has booked four rakes of re-rolling grade HRC (boron added) for exports to Nepal for August shipment. The deal was sealed at INR 53,500/t CFR Raxaul border. In H1CY22, Nepal’s HRC imports stood at around 177,068 t, down by 3.7% against 183,929 t in H1CY21. In June’22, imports were up by 3.2% m-o-m to 22,252 t.
