Indian mills scale export in CY18 recorded at 0.11MnT. Exports witnessed 65% sharp dropped against 0.31 MnT in CY17. In Q4 CY’18 exports of mill scale recorded nil.
Indian mill scale exports declined drastically in CY18 as export volumes to China got hampered which had remained the largest destination for India mill scale exports. With Chinese government laying stricter controls on the import of solid waste to the country, mill scale export volumes from India have been impacted badly.
KK Resources turn out to be the largest Exporter in CY18
KK Resources stood the largest exporter of mill scale at 0.08 MnT in CY’18, down by 36% against 0.12 MnT in CY’17. Followed by Swiss Singapore at 0.03 MnT in CY’18.
Mills scale Exports to China nil in CY’18-:
China is nil in mill scale import from India in CY’18. However, the export in CY17 was recorded at 0.18 MnT.
Philippines stood the largest mill scale importer from India in CY’18 with 0.08 MnT, down by 23% against 0.1MnT in CY’17. Followed by Japan at 0.03 MnT in CY’18.
