Steel melting scrap prices witnessed variation across key markets on 11 May 2022 SteelMint assessed. Prices dropped by 1,000/t, especially in the Western India-based Alang market due to limited trading activities in semi-finished and finished product. On the contrary, In Mandi Gobindgarh, prices were slightly supported on account of inadequate supply. Prices in a few other markets remained unchanged on d-o-d basis.
