Domestic melting scrap market observed minor fluctuations in prices in major scrap consuming locations. In southern regions, prices saw an uptick by INR 100/t while in the western market, it fluctuated by INR 100-200/t, mainly in Gujarat & Maharashtra markets. Prices are expected to remain range-bound particularly in the southern region while the same in the western region may see minor corrections as per market requirements, sources told SteelMint.
