Melting scrap prices observed minor changes on 23 Jul’21, as per Steelmint reports. Prices remained supported in Punjab and Gujarat’s Alang market owing to limited availability of material. However, in the rest of the country, scrap prices remained rangebound or stable despite correction in semi-finished steel prices. Prices are expected to remain rangebound in the short-term, sources informed Steelmint.
