Melting scrap prices witnessed minor changes across markets today, as per SteelMint assessment. While prices saw an uptick in a few markets due to improving semi-finished steel prices, especially in the northern region, in Maharashtra and south India prices had to be adjusted owing to sufficient supply, particularly in the Jalna market. There are likely to be only minor price corrections in the regional markets in the near-term, trader sources informed SteelMint.
