Melting scrap prices witnessed minor changes across markets on 13 Aug’21, as per SteelMint assessment. Prices saw an uptick in a few markets due to improving semi-finished steel prices, especially in the Durgapur market in the eastern region amid slight material shortage. On the other hand, marginal adjustments in scrap prices were observed in Gujarat and Maharashtra. Prices are likely to remain range bound in the near-term, trader sources informed SteelMint.
