Melting scrap prices witnessed minor changes on 14 Jan’22. While prices saw an uptick in a few markets due to improving semi-finished steel prices, in the northern region, especially Punjab, prices corrected marginally on account of limited demand for ingots/billets. Besides, a few markets remained closed, today being a festive holiday.
