Melting scrap prices saw a slight correction across many regional markets today. Prices moved down by around INR 500/t especially in the Alang market due to lack of buying enquiries for semi-finished steel. However, some markets also witnessed a minor decline in prices owing to the alteration in steel prices. Meanwhile, offers remained firm in a few other locations, sources informed SteelMint.
