Steel melting scrap prices saw minor fluctuations across the regions on 7 Apr’22. Prices declined in Punjab’s Mandi Gobindgarh market as well as in Maharashtra following a correction in semi-finished steel prices amidst poor offtake of finished steel. However in Raipur and Durgapur prices remained positive, while in a few western and southern Indian markets prices remained unchanged d-o-d.
