Domestic melting scrap prices moved up by INR 100-400/t d-o-d in most of the major consuming markets owing to an increase in price of finished steel and other substitute products (sponge iron). Current trade price for HMS (80:20) is assessed at INR 23,900-24,100/t Jalna and INR 22,600-22,900/t Chennai (DAP).
