Domestic melting scrap prices in most of the major consuming markets moved up by INR 100-200/t d-o-d. Current trade price for HMS (80:20) is assessed at INR 24,800/t Jalna, INR 23,700/t Chennai (DAP). Prices increased following hike in semi-finished steel (ingot/billet) prices by INR 700/t.
