Domestic melting scrap prices increased marginally by INR 100-200/t d-o-d in major consuming markets of western India. Improved demand and consistent increase in finished steel prices, have pushed up scrap prices. Current trade price for HMS (80:20) is assessed at INR 24,100-24,300/t Jalna, INR 22,800-23,200/t Chennai (DAP).
