Ship-breaking melting scrap prices remained stable today in Gujarat’s Alang market, as per SteelMint assessment. HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 42,200/t exy. Limited buying enquiries for semis in the last trading session and decent scrap trading at the current price levels prompted suppliers to keep their offers stable.
