Melting scrap prices witnessed slight fluctuations by INR 100-300/t across major markets. Prices in the northern region rose marginally whereas in western and southern region, it slipped following dull transactions in semi-finished steel. Considering adequate supply for finished long steel and dull demand, near-term prices may see further fall and buyers may adjust their bids accordingly.
