Heavy melting scrap (HMS 80:20) suppliers in Gujarat’s Alang market increased prices by INR 100/t to INR 37,000/t exw today. Scrap prices are finding support on improved market sentiments and moderate trades as well as buying enquiries for semi-finished steel on 30 Dec’21, as reported by Bhavnagar-based induction furnace mill owners.
