Melting scrap prices in Alang increased by INR 400/t today. The trade reference price of HMS (80:20) is assessed at INR 37,800/t, while attachment scrap prices are at INR 38,800/t. Suppliers increased prices owing to a marked improvement in prices of semis and finished steel along with moderate trades witnessed yesterday in Bhavnagar, Gujarat.
