Melting scrap suppliers in Gujarat’s Alang increased prices today by INR 500/t to 37,300/t exw. Suppliers increased prices owing to the slight improvement observed in market sentiments. That apart, moderate trades and buying enquiries for semis and finished steel in the last few days resulted in a hike in offers in Alang, sources informed.
