Alang’s shipbreaking melting scrap prices rose by INR 300/t d-o-d. Heavy melting scrap(HMS 80:20) is assessed at INR 38,800/t exw, while attachment prices stand at INR 39,800/t exw. Semi-finished steel prices rose considerably in yesterday’s trading session and renewed buying enquiries supported scrap suppliers to increase offers.
