Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang market rose by INR 200/t d-o-d on 18 Oct’25, as per BigMint’s assessment. HMS (80:20) prices were assessed at INR 30,000/t ($341/t) exy. The region experienced moderate trading activity for semi-finished and finished steel during yesterday’s session, with steady scrap buying interest. This led scrap suppliers to raise their offers today.
