Domestic melting scrap prices increased by INR 100-700/t d-o-d in most of the major consuming markets, owing to consistently improved semi-finished transactions along with higher price of sponge iron. Current trade reference price for CRC scrap at Jalna is reported at INR 28,000-28,100/t & HMS (80-20) at INR 25,200-25,500/t Chennai (DAP).
