Melting scrap prices saw slight variations in major Indian markets on 4 Apr’22. Prices stayed firm in western India’s Maharashtra due to inadequate supply. On the other hand, in Gujarat and other adjoining markets prices witnessed a slight correction on narrow bidding by buyers due to higher offers, especially in Gujarat, SteelMint notes.
