Melting scrap prices witnessed minor fluctuations across markets on 21 Oct’21, as per SteelMint reports. Prices at most locations decreased by around INR 200-300/t, while prices remained supported in the Mumbai and Chennai markets following improved buying enquiries in semi-finished and finished steel products, especially in Mumbai. Prices remained flat in a few other markets on average d-o-d procurement, SteelMint notes.
