Melting scrap prices fluctuated by INR 200-800/t in major scrap markets. Prices in northern India witnessed a rise of INR 400-800/t while in the western region, it corrected by up to INR 600/t specifically in Alang market. Trade participants expect prices to improve marginally in both western and northern regions.
