Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Alang, Gujarat, remained stable d-o-d on 10 Feb’24. As per BigMint’s assessment, HMS (80:20) prices stood at INR 33,800/t exy. Semi-finished steel prices in Gujarat remained almost stable in the last trading session, coupled with moderate buying inquiries for scrap in the region. This prompted scrap suppliers to maintain firm offers today.
