Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Alang, Gujarat, remained stable d-o-d on 27 Mar’24. As per BigMint’s assessment, HMS (80:20) prices stood at INR 34,000/t exy. Limited trade activities were observed for semi-finished and finished steel in the region during yesterday’s trading session due to the Holi festival. This, coupled with moderate buying enquiries for scrap, prompted suppliers to maintain stable offers today.
