Shipbreaking melting scrap prices Alang, Gujarat, remained stable today. HMS (80:20) prices are at INR 47,200 exy. Scrap prices remain stable despite a correction in semi-finished steel prices but during the late trading hours yesterday, Slight improvement in trades and also shortage of material in Alang prompted suppliers to keep offers stable.
