Shipbreaking melting scrap prices in Alang, Gujarat, remained stable d-o-d. Limited buying enquiries were observed due to high spot prices yesterday and sellers are offering HMS at marginally higher rates despite most bids remaining low. During the second half yesterday prices of semis inched up in a few key markets like Mandi Gobindgarh, although subdued sentiments prompted scrap suppliers to keep prices stable.
