In Gujarat’s Alang market shipbreaking melting scrap prices are stable today, as per SteelMint assessment. HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 40,500/t exy. Limited buying inquiries for semis in yesterday’s trading session and active buying interest for scrap in the region at current price levels prompted suppliers to keep their offers stable.
