Alang’s (Gujarat) shipbreaking scrap prices remain stable d-o-d, SteelMint assessment shows. HMS (80:20) prices are reported at INR 47,500/t exy. Although, buying enquries were limited in the spot market due to higher prices yesterday, a gradual rise in semi-finished steel prices in after hours trading compelled scrap suppliers to keep offers stable with decent buying at these levels.
