Melting scrap prices in Alang, Gujarat, remain stable today except few sizes reported slight down. HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 40,400/t exy. A marginal correction in steel billet prices in the region and dull buying enquiries in the spot market but also negligible grip in late hours of last trading session resulted in scrap offers remaining unchanged, SteelMint learnt from sources.
