Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Alang, Gujarat, remained steady d-o-d on 16 Apr’25. According to BigMint’s assessment, HMS (80:20) prices were at INR 34,800/t ($406/t) ex-yard. Trading activity in both semi-finished and finished steel remained moderate during the previous session. This, along with steady buying interest in scrap, encouraged suppliers to hold offers firm.
