Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Alang, Gujarat, remained stable d-o-d on 4 Sep’24. According to BigMint’s assessment, HMS (80:20) prices were at INR 33,800/t ($403/t) ex-yard. Prices of semi-finished and finished steel remained almost firm in the region during the yesterday’s trading session. In addition, moderate trade activity for scrap prompted suppliers to keep their offers stable today.
