Domestic melting scrap prices observed stability in most of the major consuming markets, however in few specified locations, it is slightly down by INR 100/t. Stable offers for finished steel (rebar) kept scrap prices unchanged, SteelMint learned from trade sources. Current trade price for HMS (80:20) is assessed at INR 23,800-24,000/t Jalna, INR 22,400-22,800/t Chennai (DAP).
