Melting scrap prices witnessed minor fluctuations across markets on 10 Jan’22. Prices remained firm in north India and the central India-based Raipur market following the uptrend in sponge iron and billet prices. Meanwhile, in a few locations in western India prices decreased marginally due to limited trades in finished steel. Prices in the short term may witness minor changes, trader sources informed.
