Melting scrap prices witnessed minor fluctuations on 2 Nov’21. Prices remained supported in the key markets in western and southern regions as supply issues surfaced as a result of logistical disruptions. In the north India-based markets, prices saw a marginal correction following the decline in semi-finished steel prices. Scrap prices may remain range-bound due to lower trading momentum during the festive season, sources informed.
