Melting scrap prices in Alang, Gujarat, remained range-bound d-o-d. However, scrap sellers raised prices and quoted offers higher, although limited sales of semi-finished steel products made buyers cautious about procuring scrap at high offers. This ultimately forced the suppliers to work on previous prices. Trade reference prices for HMS(80:20) are at INR 48,100-48,300/t exy.
