Melting scrap prices witnessed slight correction across key markets on 9 May’22. Prices saw positive trends in Maharashtra on the back of scrap supply. In north India, prices slid sharply due to limited buying enquiries for semi-finished and finished steel products despite inadequate supply. However, prices remained stable in some other markets. as per SteelMint assessment.
