Melting scrap prices witnessed minor fluctuations across regions on 18 Nov’21. Prices remained supported in the western region, edging higher by around INR 600/t especially in the Alang market due to constrained supply. On the other hand, a few other markets either saw prices tumbling or remaining stable, d-o-d, on usual buying appetite. Prices in the short term may witness minor changes, trader sources reported.
