Domestic melting scrap prices recovered by INR 100-500/t on a d-o-d basis in major scrap consuming regions particularly the north India where some healthy transactions have been reported, today among the trade associates. Scrap prices are expected to remain supportive in the near term, specifically in the western region while the same may be range-bound in rest of the locations, SteelMint assessed.
