Alang’s (Gujarat) ship-breaking prices increased further by INR 1,200/t d-o-d, SteelMint’s assessment shows. HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 48,000/t exy. Prices surged by INR 1,800/t in the last 3 days due to improvement in trades of IF-based mills in Bhavnagar along with bulk buying in semi-finished steel.
