Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang increased by INR 300/t d-o-d on 1 Nov’25, as per BigMint’s assessment. HMS (80:20) prices were assessed at INR 30,500/t ($344/t) exy. The regional semi-finished and finished steel market saw prices rise by INR 300-500/t amid increased trading activity. This along with moderate trade activities for scrap, prompted suppliers to raise their offers today.
