Melting scrap prices increased by INR 200/t in Alang, Gujarat, as per SteelMint assessment. HMS (80:20) prices are at INR 44,700/t, while attachment scrap prices stand at INR 45,700/t exy. The consistent rise in semi-finished and finished steel prices kept scrap offers supported. However, buying enquires seem to be slowing down at current price levels in the spot market.
