Shipbreaking melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang market increased by INR 200/t d-o-d. HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 40,200/t exy. Despite of limited trades in semis and finished steel, scrap suppliers witnessed moderate buying enquiries during the last trading session. Moreover, limited availability of the material at yards prompted suppliers to raise their offers marginally today.
