Shipbreaking melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang market rose by INR 300/t d-o-d on 7 July. HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 41,700/t exy. Scrap prices remained supported by improved sentiments in domestic semi-finished and finished steel markets yesterday.
